What Qualifies for a Medical Card in Arizona?

To become a Medical Marijuana Patient in Arizona, a person must have one of the following Qualifying Conditions. As part of Arizona’s Medical Marijuana Card Program patients are required to be evaluated by a licensed physician for one of the approved Qualifying Conditions for a Medical Marijuana Card every 2 years.   • Severe and Chronic Pain (This can include arthritis, migraines, old injuries, neuropathy, etc)

  • Severe Nausea

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Persistent Muscle Spasms

  • Cancer

  • Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

  • Alzheimer's Disease

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

  • Cachexia or wasting syndrome

  • Crohn's Disease

  • Glaucoma

  • Hepatitis C

  • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

  • Seizures
