COVID and Medical Marijuana in Arizona

Unfortunately in Arizona as of September 2020, it is still illegal for a doctor to certify you for medical marijuana via telemedicine.

Since Arizona is requiring in-person visits, we are committed to keeping our staff and patients safe while at our office. In addition to our standard infection control measures, we have implemented the following protocols to help mitigate the extra risks posed by the COVID Pandemic:

  • We have streamlined the in office visit to minimize person-to-person exposure time

  • All staff and patients are required to wear masks

  • Patients are waiting in their vehicles instead of in our waiting area (our wait times are very short)

  • Patient education sessions are being conducted via telephone sessions instead of in our office

  • Patients are given a completely private room during the application submittal process

  • We are spending extra time cleaning our office

  • Staff are required to take their temperature prior to the start of their shift

  • Most of our staff now works remotely

We are working hard to keep everyone safe. Please do your part. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. If you have any suggestions, please send us a note via our Contact page.
